A day in the life of an Automated home:
4:45 Bathroom Floor heat turns on and coffee starts brewing
5:30am Alarm clock goes off
Bedroom recessed lights come on to 35%
I wake to soft lights and 1010WINS on the bedroom speakers
5:40am Bathroom vanity lights come on to 50%, Shower light comes on to full on and 103.5 KTU
comes on the Bathroom speakers. "Wow the floor is nice and warm."
5:45am Shower light shuts off Vanity lights come on to 100% bright "Damn I need a shave"
6:00am Bathroom lighting turns off, Bathroom sound shuts off Bedroom lights come on to 75%
6:15am Bedroom lighting turns off Kitchen lighting to 50%, the Kitchen TV turns on to The Weather
Channel, and my coffee just finished brewing,and the front sprinklers just turned on.
6:20am The front sprinklers shut off
6:25am Kitchen lights start to dim and foyer light comes on to 50%
6:26am Landscape perimeter lighting comes on
6:30am I'm in my car and off to work.
6:45am Wife and Kids get up and turn on every light in the house.
7:30am All house lighting shuts off.
5:30pm The front Post lights come on to 50% brightness, and landscape perimeter lights come on
full.
7:00pm HVAC system sets back to desired evening temperature.
7:15pm "wow the bathroom floor feels nice and warm"
8:00pm Vincent's lights automatically shut off, Gianna's reading lights come on to 75%.
8:30pm Gianna' Reading lights automatically shut off.
9:30pm or so I hit the "GOODNIGHT" button and the house starts its SLEEP mode.
"ALARM ACTIVATED"
10:00pm HVAC system sets back to goodnight temperature, Bedroom TV sets its Sleep timer, Lights
at bed turn off, Wife complains "I was still reading",Bathroom hallway light comes on to 25%
brightness
10:15pm Bedroom TV PIP screen pops up and shows front and rear yard security cameras on the
split screen.
10:30pm The front yard Post lights dim down to 45%, the landscape Garden Lights come on to full
brightness, and the landscape perimeter lights dim down to 25%.
12:25am Kitchen recessed lights turns on to 50% for security reasons
12:27am Kitchen lights turn back off. "HMMM, I wonder if somebody is home?"
